Why to Use this Calculator?: Why TPN calculations Matters in NICU:

TPN ordering errors are the most observed errors in NICU. Amongst 36.6 % of all the NICU related errors, 37.1% are related to the wrong calculations. After working with a number of NICU care teams in tertiary units I have seen firsthand that the right calculator at the right time reduces calculation related errors by 61% and significantly elevate the safety and security providing patieny centered care ( Hopkins All Children Safety Methodology, 2024).
